040303_MSC_Florentina_12_aFor decades MacGregor has pioneered container lashing systems, as a natural and essential part of its cargo flow solutions. It began in the 1970’s when the German company Conver was established and soon became a leading lashing supplier.

In 1992 MacGregor acquired Conver and has since then continued to develop the business. Examples are the first one-piece housing twistlock, the first semi-automatic dual wire twistlock, removable cell guides, lashing bridges, and multi-lash systems.

MacGregor’s lashing portfolio and knowledge base has now been further enhanced by the acquisition of innovative lashing specialist All Set Marine Lashing. All Set has won an excellent global reputation, setting new standards for key lashing products.

All Set brings to MacGregor 15 years’ additional experience of designing the innovative lashing solutions chosen by some of the largest container ship operators in Europe, the USA and the Far East. The company has traditionally combined product development and design skills with the ability to interpret its customers’ business needs, converting them into solutions that create value.
